  • Daguna Consulting has developed and executed monitoring plans to satisfy requirements of federally issued Biological Opinions. 
  • Senior Biologists with Daguna Consulting participate in ongoing research on endangered freshwater biota staying abreast of developments and advances in the science of conservation biology.  


We are currently cooperating with The Catena Group and VDGIF to monitor and quantify population dynamics of the federally endangered James spinymussel using mark-recapture modeling.

We are monitoring survival of federally endangered mussels moved from a construction footprint in the Clinch River using PIT (Passive Integrated Transponder) tags.
